INTRODUCTIONS
The Expressive Child is a therapy practice for children and young people, based in Walton-on-Thames providing professional support across Surrey, South London and the South East. We work from our therapy centre, as well as at homes and in schools.
Our practice aims to offer families a hub to access professionals across multiple disciplines.
Our roots as a speech and language therapy practice mean that our focus has always been on helping children and young people build confidence in their communication and find pleasure in interactions, and removing barriers that get in the way of this.
Now, we are expanding our practice to offer acess to a wide range of complementary professionals, such as psychologists, SEN advocates, paediatricians and occupational therapists. Our vision is to provide one place for families to access all of the support and advice they need, reduce the demands of co-ordinating multiple services and professionals and create a supportive community for any family where a child needs a bit extra to thrive.
We are also offer a NICE compliant standard assessment package, utilising diagnostic tools such as the ADOS and ADI, in order to diagnose autism and ADHD in children and young people.
We are currently looking for professionals to join our team as associates. This would suit someone who is keen to work as an independent clinician, but also wants to remain part of a team for support, networking and having friends in the office to catch up with.
We can provide diary management support, clinical record keeping software, team CPD, theapy rooms, office space, endless tea and coffee, invoicing and admin support. You will also benefit from referrals via our website, social media, general marketing and access to current clients receiving speech and language therapy.
